After breakfast in the bivouacs, we will go on a camel trek back to the hotel in Merzouga for a quick shower. We leave the Sahara desert dunes of Erg Chebbi via an off-road drive across the hamada (black Desert) to get to the Sahara town of Rissani with an optional visit of the animated local market. Afterwards, we drive to Erfoud that is known for its fossils. Here, we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we continue to the impressive Todra canyons, known for rock climbing, where you can hike before we check into the hotel for the dinner and night .

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
We will wake up early in the morning, to go on our camel trek to watch what will may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterward, you’ll peacefully camel trek back to your riad for breakfast. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes changing with the light as the day progresses, before continuing to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. Arrival at Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and a refreshing glass of mint tea then continue our journey to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, before we stop to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest. On the road to Ifrane “the French village,” we stop for a picture or a drink then drive to your hotel in Fes where the tour ends.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora dunes
We will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:00. We will be taking the road that crosses the High Atlas mountains passing by Tizi N’tichka. Here, we will arrive at Ait Benhaddou village, the fortified ksar with it’s beautiful Kasbahs, Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural decoration for many movies producers since 1960’s. once we get to Ait Benhaddou village, we take a walking visit to the top of the hill to dominate the whole village. Afterward, we will head to Ouarzazate for lunch next to the famous Kasbah of Taourirt which represents the historical and cultural interests of Ouarzazate. After lunch, we will travel to the south and cross the second pass which is Tizi N’Tnifift at 1710m and Ait Saoun village the former route of caravans of Sahara traders coming from “Tombouktou”. We will reach the first administrative center called “Agdez village” that marks the source of Draa Valley, with it’s 6 successive palm groves stating (Mezguit palmary, Fezouata…). We will then continue through the lunar landscapes and the pre-Sahara routes until we get to Zagora which is a small town, the native region of Saadian dynasty (Saadian tombs in Marrakech) who used to rule Morocco in the XVII century. Upon arrival to our Camp, we will go on an unforgettable camel trekking to the top of sand dunes to enjoy the view of an amazing sunset. Afterward, we will return to the camp for dinner and overnight in a Berber tent.
Marrakech Zagora 2 days desert tour
Day 2: Zagora Dunes – Agdez – High Atlas – Marrakech
According to your choice, we can wake up earlier for an amazing scenery of sunrise. Then, we will return to the camp for breakfast.
After breakfast and a shower, we will start our journey back to Marrakech, on the way we will visit Taourirt Kasbah at Ouarzazate city, after visiting and having lunch we will continue our way to cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco (Tizi Tichka 2260 M), offering impressive landscapes of valleys and mountains, we arrive Marrakech around 6 pm or 7 pm. End of service at your riad/Hotel.
