Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
In the morning, we will depart from Marrakech travelling over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi-N-Tichka which stands at ( 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy the impressive landscapes includes a visit to Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant we will go on a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. We will then continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and night in a traditional hotel..

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Agdez – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah before travelling the scenic road via jabel Saghro mountain range, down to the oasis and kasbahs of the Draa valley, where is the largest river in Morocco. We will pass through many Berber villages including Agdez and N’kob, where we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant .
We will continue our day tour to Merzouga, there we will stop for dinner and night in a hotel.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi
In the morning, we will explore the desert region. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes, where you will have the opportunity to see the the nomad’s way of life and amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the ‘black people village’ called Khamlia and known as Gnawa musicians village. We then continue to Rissani ( one of Moroccan imperial cities ) where we will have lunch and a visit to its traditional markets. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to get ready for our camel trek to the berber tents in the middle of the dunes which includes a magical sunset.
Dinner and night will be in the bivouac ( berber tent ).

Day 4 : Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara, before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. After breakfast, we will travel via Erfoud towards the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. We will take a short walk through the Todra Gorges before continuing along the picturesque river valleys towards Dades Gorge. In the afternoon you have free time to take a walk in Dades Gorge .
Dinner and night in a hotel in the middle of the Gorges.

5 Days Marrakech to Merzouga desert trip

Day 5 : Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Telouet – Marrakech
We will take a morning drive to Ouarzazate via the gorges where we will follow the Dades Valley through Kalaat M’gouna and the oasis of Skoura. After lunch in Ouarzazate we will descend the High Atlas mountains to visit Telouet kasbah and the Glaoui kasbah. We will then arrive early evening to your hotel in Marrakech or airport according to your flight details.
